A graduate of the University of Montréal in law in 1999 and from the Barreau in 2000, Dr. Dumont practiced law for four years. She discovered a passion for the functioning of the human body and decided to go back to school. She obtained her doctorate in medicine from Laval University in 2008. She then made a specialty in family medicine at the University of Sherbrooke in 2010.
Dr. Dumont practices as an emergency physician and in hospital medicine from 2010 to 2017.
She has been working with the Carabins organization of the University of Montréal since 2010 as well as at the Sports Medicine Clinic. She develops a strong interest in sports medicine.
Dr. Dumont is a member of the board of directors of the Quebec association of sports and exercise physicians (AQMSE) and scientific director of the annual conference of the same organization.
Mom of a young child, passionate, attentive, involved and fascinated by the development of children, she practices at the Rose des Vents Clinic as a family doctor for children.
